Who is Magical Vacations?

New Jersey-based Magical Vacations specializes in all Disney related travel, as well as cruises and other Orlando destinations. We can be verified through the Walt Disney Travel Company and CLIA, as well as through various other tour & cruise operators for non-Disney travel.  Magical Vacations provides its clients with a high degree of personalized customer service, and is committed to ensuring that each vacation is a fantastic one! 

2.  What are your qualifications?

Magical Vacations is a member of CLIA, graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, and an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  In addition, we are "Certified Specialists" for many other resort/cruise destinations.  We pride ourselves on being highly organized, detail oriented, and budget minded.  We help plan fantastic vacations for our clients, offering valuable experience, knowledge and information.

3.  What special services do you provide?

We compare packages and ticket options to determine the best possible match for your particular budget and needs. We also have access to special promotions and/or discounts when they are offered, and often times before they are released to the general public.  After we have booked your vacation, we can provide itinerary planning, schedule activities and tours, make dining recommendations as well as schedule dining arrangements.    If you have special needs that may include dietary, hearing, mobility, service animals, special medications, visual impairment, or other need, we can assist you with special resources to make your trip stress-free.  You can relax and enjoy your vacation while we take care of all the details!

4.  Can you locate discounts?

Absolutely!  If a discount and/or special promotion becomes available for your time of travel which is available and for which you are eligible for, you can count on us to work on your behalf to find the best rates possible and determine which offer works best for you.  If you have an existing reservation booked through Magical Vacations, we will modify your reservation so that you receive the savings if the discount is applicable to you (this means such offers would have to meet the criterial of being available for your travel dates, resort, and room category).  If you are booked under a Magical Vacations agency-exclusive or group discount offer, we cannot change your reservation to other offers, discounts or promotions.

5.  How do I get a vacation quote?

It's simple!  Just submit your quote request for your Disney or other Orlando destination. We will respond to your inquiry with rates and availability usually within a 24-hour time frame upon receipt of your information during normal business hours (and often times, after hours as well!).   Or if you prefer, give us a call here in New Jersey at (973) 625-9400.

6.  How do I pay for my vacation?

For all Disney property reservations, we are happy to place a no-obligation, 14-day courtesy hold reservation for you.  A  deposit will be required via major credit card to secure that reservation prior to your courtesy hold expiring.  If your reservation is for "room only", then a deposit equal to one nights lodging plus tax per room is required.  If you are booking a package, then a $200. deposit per reservation is required.  We will notify you of the deposit requirements, due date, and options/arrangements for your final payment.   If your destination in non-Disney related, please contact us for specific payment options.  If booking into an agency-exclusive offer, other terms may apply.

7.  How is my credit card charged?

For Disney vacations booked through Walt Disney Travel Co., your credit card is only charged by Disney®. You will receive a Disney-generated confirmation number, and your credit card statement will reflect the charge(s) processed by them. Please note that Disney policies are in effect for deposits, changes, modifications and/or cancellations.  In the case that there is a better offer available via another supplier, we will discuss that with you prior to booking.    If booking an agency-exclusive or group discount offer, other terms may apply.

8.  Does Magical Vacations charge a booking fee?

There is no cost to you for our service since we are commissioned by the resort properties we work with.   Our concierge-style services are COMPLIMENTARY, and we are always happy to help in any way possible.

9.  What if I have an existing reservation and want to transfer it to Magical Vacations?

We are happy to accept transfers - there is no fee to do so.  We'll provide you with a Transfer Request Form which you will need to complete and sign.  Transfers usually are finalized within 24 hours.
